Gouging Venders

Hola

Why is it the venders who list vehicles they are stripping try to take us for 
the most ?  I saw a '62 that I asked for the leading strip of chrome on the 
right front fender.  The seller told me that he wanted $50 for it.  When I 
stated that he was a little over priced and thanked him for replying, his 
answer 
was " If you can find it".
