As I mentioned awhile back, I am trying to identify
what sound system was originally installed in my '68
Crown convertible.
When I went to re-install the radio, I was surprised
to find that the harnesses on the radio did not match
the harnesses in the car. The wiring in the car seems
to indicate a Multiplex system. The radio is just an
AM unit.
Yesterday I had a chance to see the remains of the
car's buildsheet, which hangs in pieces under the rear
seat cushion. The buildsheet shows "7" under a box
labled "stereo radio/stereo tape".
Can someone tell me what the "7" means?
