lenses

Hi all

I was going to wait until my next restoration installment of my 1960 Lebaron Sedan to share with the club re the new lenses I have received from George Laurie but I will do so now. I have ordered all new badges, lenses, etc for the whole car from George. I did this after months of searching the world for a company etc who would reproduce theses items to original specs and colours. George is the ONLY person I found who would take the time and effort to make sure that the products he creeates are exactly what came off the line. I have received some of the lenses from George and let me say that they are PERFECT in every way. They are absolutely beautiful and the rest of my order is on the way. I have seen other reproductions from other companies and chatted to them as well. Most can't be bothered to "get it right" George gets it right. I too can vouch for his helpfulness as he often advises me re my restoration.

He recently mentioned that he may be also repairing streering wheels. Well if he does mine will be heading up to his place as I wont even bother searching out others because I know George will get it right. My advise to anyone who is looking to replace lenses, etc is to go to George and you will not be disapointed. I will be showing some of his workmanship in my next posting re my resto - coming soon.

Keep up the great work George - I'm impressed.

Larry
