Subject: IML: Fuel Supply to Carb

Is the glass fuel bowl (filter) suppose to remain full while engine is idling? I replaced the fuel pump and it was full at start up. When I checked back on it, it was down to about a 1/4 of an inch and the gas is just trickleling in the glass bowl. The fuel pump is being supplied by a gas can until fuel lines are cleaned.

Thanks
