Every 1965 Imperial ( and Chrysler's too ) have the 8 3/4 ring and pinion.  
The OEM ration for the Imperials was 2:94 to 1.  The average Chrysler had the 
2:76 to 1 and the optional ratio with Chryslers was the 3:23 to 1.  The 
Imperial Division offered no options except "Sure-Grip".
