Thank you for
the reply. Yes, I did go through the MTS publication, but there was no
information directly regarding the caliper rebuild. I have searched the net and
the Imperial Archives as well. I know there has to be a trick as brute force
would destroy the new seal. I have tried every trick I know of and still no
success. These calipers have been resleeved at one time with stainless
steel liners and the new seals are the correct size.

did you take a look at the club website's
Master
Technicians Service Conference for 67-69, the years that the budd
brakes were used? I saw a few sessions that looked promising. Also
check the Service Manual (coming to the website soon)?
They are on the respective pages...
I have a NOS Budd rebuild kit on my shelf. If you can not locate
anything on the website, I will open it and see if there are instructions
there.
