I'm sure Kate will chime in on this one, as she had an excellent reply the
last time this thread was around. The only part I remember from it was
leather will absorb droplets of water and vinyl will not.

How can you tell for sure if interior fabric is leather or very good
vinyl? Normally I look for the "crinkles" that leather gets over
time. Looking at this seat cushion

patterns that it is leather. Is this a safe assumption? Any
non-destructive way to know for sure?
