Re: [FWDLK] Colorado MoPar events

Are these both always the same weekend. I've gone to the swap many times and never found the Thunder Mountain event. The swap seems to really have deteriorated since it was at the dog track in Denver. Decided to not bother this year so it will probably be the best yet!

This weekend is the annual Mopars at Thunder Mountain event at Bandimere
Speedway, just west of Denver. It starts Friday night and runs through
Sunday. There's quite a bit of racing and musclecar events, but there
will also be a car show with plenty of '55-'61 cars. I was rather
disappointed with the swap meet last year, but I hear there might be more
vendors this year. We'll see. I went gaga over a speeding-ticket red
'61 Polara convertible last year.

Also this weekend is the Old Car Council's swap meet at the Douglas
County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock, about 20 miles south of Denver. I
don't have the details, but these are usually quality meets featuring all
makes.
