Ok, my 2 cents..... I personally would rebuild the original 318. I am in the process of rebuilding mine, and have to say, the parts and ease of "workability" (<---New word! Cool huh?!) on it made my mind up for me. Everything is readily available as well as easy to do. And who needs all the power for a cruiser. Or at least that's what mine is...
