[FWDLK] PowerFlow 6 ignition wires: No one with my problem?

Hey Lookers,

I didn't get a single reply to my query (yet).  The counterman gave me
Borg-Warner CH616 wires for my flathead 6.  The Forward Look Web indicates
that this is the correct part.  Yet most of the wires are too short -- by at
least 8 inches.

One of two things is true:

1) The wrong wires are in the box.

2) This is actually the wrong part number, despite what B-W's catalog says.

Has anyone else replaced their ignition wires with this part number?  Has
anyone had success, with this or some other part number, or different brand?
It's not likely that I can extend the distributor, or stretch the wires...
