59 Plymouth linkage is like the linkage on my 63 300 with 2 barrel 383. I had
problems adapting a later style two barrel, because the linkage on the 63 had a
rod that pushed forward from below the throttle shaft, unlike most other cars
that have a rod or cable that pulls back from attaching above the throttle
shaft. If there are no adaptation problems, you could use an Edelbrock AFB. I
have one on my 68 Roadrunner, and it works fine. But if you want 100%
originality, then this suggestion may not be what you need. But it may get you
on the road again until you can find the correct parts. Just be aware that there
may be throttle cable and gas line modifications to make, but I doubt any of it
would be that big of a problem to convert back to stock. Good luck!
