Bill Boggs used to have his own talk show at noon on WNEW Channel 5, New
York.  Then, I believe, he briefly hosted Good Day, New York at 7:00.  WNEW
became a FOX network affiliate in the '80s and change its call letters to
WNYW.

Bill Boggs is a minor celebrity who  hosts (hosted?) a show on the Food
Channel...
I am originally from NY State, and I am thinking he was a reporter for
Channel 7 back in the Roger Grimsby-Bill Beutel days (the 70's)  ...anybody
care to comment?
