Re: [FWDLK] Torsion Bar

Mackey and anyone else out there...

How do you get the torsion bar out?  I got the front nut off and the rear clips out, but the torsion bars are not moving at all.  I don't want to start banging on the front bolts, but that seems to be the only way they'll come out.  Does anybody have an idea.  If so, please give it to me.

Mackey, did you try Gary Goers for the bushings?  Kanter may have then also.

Hi All
Since the 58 Dodge Regal Lancer has been sandblasted and the body is off the
frame I am going to rebuild the suspension. The torsion bars bushings look as
though they could be somewhat difficult. Has anyone done this and what if any
problem am I going to run into. Does anyone have these parts available. Your
experience and knowledge would be much appreciated.
