I don't know why you need new shims except to affect the endplay but I would start at a Ring and Pinion shop. That's what we call it here in Detroit. Any shop that specializes in rebuilding differentials should be able to help. As far as the dial indicator is concerned you will need to go to a tool supply house like a discount "Performance Tool" store and buy a dial indicator and a magnetic holder. Marv |
