I seem to remember hearing that a sending unit out of
a '60s-'70s F*rd Econoline or other blue-oval truck
will fit (Autolite being the OEM vendor in both cases)
and that F*rd dealers still stock this piece.
Hopefully someone will remember this with all the
details. (The post I got this info from included the
F*rd part number.)
