[FWDLK] Good News from Daimler-Chrysler's PVO Group

According to news releases from Chrysler Group spokesman,
David Elshoff; DaimlerChrysler is confirming the release
dates of a series of high performance Dodge vehicles from
its newly formed Performance Vehicle Operations Group.

The Dodge Viper SRT-10, will be the first vehicle tuned by
PVO and is due this October.

Two more PVO vehicles are scheduled for next year including
the Dodge Neon SRT-4, due early in 2003 and the Dodge Ram
SRT-10 which will be introduced later in 2003.

The focus on performance and racing in the Dodge Division
will help energize the market and renew interest in D-C
vehicles.  No mention was made at this time about the new
hemi and whether it would be available in the new Dodge
Charger.
