The owner of this car told me about it before he actually received it. He said it was coming from Nebraska or Kansas (I forget which) and was unrestored as he bought it. He then had it restored here in Minnesota, near Minneapolis. I don't think he is familiar with the factory you are referring to, as he has used other sources for prior restorations. This car probably came from the 'factory' in central Minnesota where several Forward Look Plymouths with 'factory installed' hemi engines were (re)born. This same 'factory' also makes its own oval air cleaners for their 'assembly line'. At least one of the 'factory original' 1958 Plymouth hemi hardtops also got a convertable X member added to the frame. Other options from other MoPar car lines also show up in the 'factory original' cars from there. It is black with a very old decal says "Hemi Commando". -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Need an answer fast?
