Y'know, what "usually" happens w/a 'modified' car is that the 1stseller tells the 2ndowner the 'real' storyt, but the 2ndseller sumtimes "fergets" to tell the 3rdowner "the rest of the story"... A NOT-funny case-in-point is the sad tale of the baby-blue "361" phoenix convertible, that became the Fire-engine-red Super-D500 , that "belonged" to Marilyn Monroe(!!!???) & which (reportedly ) TOURED this country, as part of a "Cars of the Stars" display, along w/J. Lennon's Bentley; AND which (reportedly) was also featured on a car-channel-show (didn't see that episode; tho; did anyone 'here' see it.? I do know quite a bit of history on that car, & the man who "restored" it. Neil Vedder 57 D500 -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Need an answer fast?
