The lines can easily be blurred, and I don't think anyone on here will
openly object to someone doing whatever they want with their own car-I
personally plan on making mine as comfy as possible. What gets someone
irritated isn't the changes-its when someone claims they were always
there, and swapping VINs is the easiest way to make a car something it
wasn't originally. Especially for the purpose of jacking up the price-
it's fraud. I wouldn't mind if my Newport had a 300 interior, but you can
bet I'd still call it a Newport. It's when I start calling it a 300 that
it becomes dishonest-because which brings more in the market, any
condition? The 300 would win every time, and as that seems to be the idea
behind selling a VIN tag like this, I hate to see it happen. Change
anything you want, just don't lie about it.
