If Ebay would change their auction end policy, it would negate the last minute bidding. One of the other services extends the auction x amount of time if there is a last minute bid. This takes away most of the advantage bidding at the last second. This might get everyone bidding when they want, knowing there will be fewer people waiting until the last second. They could even make it optional for the seller. Some people selling a lot of stuff may just want it all to end together so they can manager their auctions, others might like to let them extend. ----- Original Message ----- snip Ebay is a TIMED bidding event, NOT an auction, where final "fair value, last call" is observed, before the bidding is closed. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Need an answer fast?
