Why would anybody care what some other buyer pays for an item sold by an
unknown third party? This second "reason" to bid early on item proposed by
Neil seems to me to be bizarre and counterproductive. Because you don't
think it's right for someone else to get a good deal (read: cheap price) on
an item? Who would do this? And what if you end up buying it if you really
didn't want it and just bid using your rationale? I really hope nobody on
this list would do this to another list member. . .
