Lower -- as it also allows any air bubbles in the switch to escape.

Hi gang -

On the master cylinder there are two outlet holes, one for the hydraulic
brake light switch and one for the line. Which hole is correct for the
switch ?  I've seen it both ways, and would think the lower would be
more
appropriate, since it keeps the wires out of the way...
