Weelllll, there used to be 2 schools of thought And Teaching, concerning basic DC electricity. One school taught that electrons 'flowed' from neg to Pos, the other taught electrons flowed from Pos to Neg. Each 'camp' had their favorite examples of this philosophy. This seems to have continued well in the modern age. Transisters could be had ( and Still can be had ) in BOTH flavors, Positive Junction (PNP) AND Negitive Junction (NPN).
