OT, but that is a common problem in Chevy trucks.
My mom has a 95 and a ground failed and every so often it would simply
refuse to start. The horn might blip when you turned the key, but that was
it. Eventually they tracked it to a bad ground connection, either the motor
to firewall strap or one that went into the cab wiring.
Yet my 89 Suburban the engine to firewall strap is broken and it's been
fine.
