In a word, "Rat Zapper". I have used for several years in crawl space under
my home. Works well, and you never lose a dead rat to smell up your home
for a couple of weeks. I have done that once with poison, and never again.

Most all these poisons require a source of water to activate them. The poison gives the mouse a raging thirst and when they drink it's very quick. A basement is a bad place to use it if there is a sump or suchlike there, as the mouse may get onto a hidden area while dying. I can't use poison since my cats think mice and other such critters are a moving buffet. They also sit on the porch and watch cat TV (birds at the feeders). The mouse could die INSIDE your car -- in an inconvenient place like the headliner or under the back seat. There is no way to guarantee that the mouse will get weak outside the car. The smell of a dead mouse could be there for weeks and weeks unless you disassembled the headliner to find it. Her Highness (the wife) insisted on putting bait poison in the basement, and the result was horrendous. If you want to go this route of putting bait outside the car, just get mouse trap and some peanut butter. Then, when you catch the mouse, you can easily dispose of the corpse.Happy Halloween to All... JimBounce is good inside the car. I like to also use a mouse poison in small containers. Place them OUTSIDE the car, a few feet away, so they attract the mice out of the car. Eventually, the mice are too weak to climb back in.************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 I choose Polesoft Lockspam to fight spam, and you?http://www.polesoft.com/refer.html ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1
