I know this clairfies nothing, simply because its from the early 70's and I expect the rules had to have drasticly changed from 57 to then. I used to tow our race car with my 300-C, one day at a track event, managed by the NHRA crew, I decided to champaign the 300 as well as the race car. The tech folks took one look under the hood and declared "You're in Super Stock", it didnt matter one iota that the car was pure stock, with no performance enhancing mods evident to ANYone's naked eye over and above the standard equiptment visible. As such, there was no way I was competitive. I had fun practicing, but the first blast in compitition and it were all over for me. ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 |
