[FWDLK] Hissy fitting?

Recently, my car's cannister-type power brake system has emitted a quite
noticible hiss, when the brake pedal is applied (most noticible,
obviously, when the car is stopped).

The braking effort hasn't changed, but  I want to prevent any future
catastrophes, if possible.

AFAIK, I've never overhauled the brake booster but have replaced the M/C
with a dual-system.

I did replace the vacuum hose, leading to the cannister, as it looked
like there might have been a crack in it which may have been creating a
vacuum loss, but that crack didn't go thru the hose, & the hiss iss
persissting....

So, what-all do I need to buy and do, to be hiss-less?
