Hey Ron, Karen and I are long time members of the AACA
and are a lot farther from 90 than you are. We enjoy the best of both
worlds with Karens' senior national first place winning 1959 Rambler,
and her all original unrestored 65 Marlin along with my somewhat modified 57
Fury Sort of Christine style that I drove to Tulsa and back. Out next to the
garage is the latest project a 57 Dodge Pickup that will look mostly original
but will have disc brakes, electronic ignition, an oak bed with stainless
strips and a tonneau, radial tires and nicer interior.
This solid
California truck has sat in storage for the past 21 years waiting for the
previous two owners to do something with it. Time to get it back on the road
and have fun! Dick

Is it true you must be close to 90 years old to join the AACA? Or
am I just judging people on their appearance?
I live 2 miles from their NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS AND THEIR
MUSUEM.

It's all about where and with whom
one associates. The prestigious AACA is still the biggest old-car group,
where historical accuracy and correctness is both sought and celebrated,
just the same as the founding principles behind this Forward-Look group.
