Re: [FWDLK] 58 belv 'vert

Bob Dagostino has a '57 300c vert with a 3 on the tree which he bought in 1972, supposed to be the only one Chrysler built. I know the car, it's real.

There is an all-black/red-interior/all-original  1957 Custom Royal D500
vert, back-east
somewhere in a private collection, that has the 3-speed manual in it.

The alleged Super-D500 (all-black, again...) CRL 2-dr HT that Ryan
Newman owns also
has the 3-banger in it.

All of the 24+ (found-to-date in H.S. microfilm records) 1957 D501 verts
(354 Hemis)
have the mighty (-not) 3-speeds in them; as well as all of the other
D501 hardtops.

Or maybe the buyer is willing to accept the fact that the car isn't perfect and after shelling out 50K, are now willing to sink another 50K into getting it restored correctly.
