After 23 years, I am finally asking this question: Ever since I bought my 55 Ply Belvedere 6cy auto, I've had brake issue problems. No matter how many times I bleed the brake lines, master cyl. etc., the pedal always goes soft after the car sits idle for a few days. I have to remind myself to pump the pedal a few times every so often or I end up purging the brake lines. Also, there's always a tendency for the car to to steer to the right and it's usually the first cylinder to start leaking fluid--Throughout the years, I replaced the brakes shoes, cylinders, etc., and it's the same. To bleed the system I use the jar and hose method- Is this a common problem with these cars? Anybody has the same problem? Suggestions? Thanks Jesus 55 Ply Belv sedan 6 cyl, auto trans ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 Help the Forward Look with every eBay purchase by starting your search here: http://www.ForwardLook.net/eBay Help the Forward Look with every Amazon purchase by clicking here: http://www.ForwardLook.net/Amazon
