Here is how I first learned of Frank Mitchell's death. The evening of his death I had called Frank to make a purchase. I asked if he could bring it with him to the Nats to save me the $100 shipping costs. He said yes and we completed the deal. Shortly after we hung up he emailed me saying he would see me Friday with the part. Today I called his cell phone but it was answered by Mike, the gentleman who had been mostly running the business for Frank for a few years. We met up. He told me that shortly after my call with Frank and his email, Frank had suddenly died. Mike had not brought the usual rig for the swap meet but had put my part in his pickup truck and brought it up to me. RIP Frank, and if Mike chooses to continue the business he will have at least one testimonial right here.
