A mover-shaker Forward Look guy I know said he doesn't waste his time on the FL site because it is populated
with whiners and cheapskates. While I don't totally agree, I see his point, especially when it comes to spending
money to make cars happen. And Frank Mitchell might be a good example. Maybe that $675 hood ornament is
high priced compared to the 1980's swap meet price, but just go ahead and put a value on finding a betting one
cheaper. How much is your time and aggravation worth ?
I know, ... this drives the little guy/hobbyist out of the game. I hate it. But this is reality and Frank was just a part
of the business end of a hobby-turned-investment-driven "business".
I bought a wad of 58 Plymouth tail light lenses from him when everyone was screaming that $45 a pop was absurdly
high. Glad I got them when I did because they haven't gotten any cheaper or easier to find since.
