[Chrysler300] Core plugs

I Just finished putting my 300F engine together. Some of you might
remember the problem I had finding the right core plugs. Well ounce I
found a company that had the right type and size core plugs, I bought 6
for the block. When I went to install them I found 1 of the 6 holes
were a different size. So I had to go out and find another one of a
kind plug. Now why would Chrysler have or use one larger core plug in
the block? They all seemed to fit nice and tight. and with a good
coating of Permatex around the edges and a good WAP with two ball pen
hammers and a primer coat of POR-15 They had better not come out or leak.
The good news the engine is all done. except the manifolds they will
go on after the engine and tranny are installed. I hope to start on the
transmission next week while I'm waiting for my custom Torque converter
I'm having made. I only found one company that would make a higher
stall converter for a cast iron transmission, very expensive I hope its
worth it.
I sure hope I get my car done for the Tahoe meet next year. I would
like to meet some of you guys.
                            Gary Barker
