Happy New Year to All!
The main purpose for the Dual Quads is more even fuel distribution. 
Each carb only has to supply 4 cylinders. With a single, you can have a 
big enough flowing carb to supply the needs of the engine, but the 
center cylinders run rich and the end ones run lean.

 From built VW's to 409 SS Chebbies, I ran many cars with dual Quads, 
and agree it's the right way. It also looks better, is more trick, and 
satisfying to us old racers! I even still have my Uni-Syn tool.

But after working with F.I. for the last 15 years of my Professional 
career, I know that it's the best way. I really want to try F.I. on our 
Hurst, but can't afford it for now.
