Re: Chrysler 300 segment on Speedvision Telephone Number

I am resending this message as apparently some did not see my earlier posting with the telephone number and I have received several more requests.

If anyone out there has info on any other Chrysler 300 videos(including early racing stuff) please share with us. Seems a topic of interest to many of us.

A nice thing about Tivo is that I now have it permanently stored on a 40 gig hard drive connected to my TV so that I can call this segment up and view upon request at anytime.

For those unfamiliar with Tivo, go to www.tivo.com or www.tivofq.com . for more in-depth technical info. Works well with cable or off the air antenna, but the best implementation is with Direct Tv Satellite system.

For all of you who responded to my listserv email seeking the telephone number to order the video it is

1-866-5MUSCLE. Each video tape(no DVD I guess) is 19.95 or 3 for 49.95. There are two 1/2 hour programs on each tape. The video on the 300's was titled as Chrysler Hemis. The second program that I recorded on Tivo was titled Dart GTS(quite interesting video on the Dart and its many iterations as performance cars and its development). This program immediately followed the HEMI segment but I do not know if both segments are offered on the same video tape.

Visa and Mastercard are taken for payment. I am assuming that these numbers are correct as they were broadcast as commercials with the programming.

Let us all know what you thing for those who order them. Someone email'd me to say that some of the 300's shown were filmed at a 300 fall meet in Williamsburgh, Virginia.

I had noted one day as I was surfing thru my TV/Satellite/Tivo service that there was an upcoming segment on Chrysler Hemi cars to be broadcast on Muscle Cars which is a program on Speedvision Channel 607 on Direct Tv.

I set Tivo(the best 400 dollars I have ever spent in home theatre stuff) up to record it when it was to be broadcast and just last nite I was browsing thru my Tivo recordings and there it was. I had not expected much, but was very pleasantly surprised at how well the development of the 300's was covered in the short 1/2 hour program.

Had a good history of the movers at Chrysler who developed the car and why, a large number of videos of various 300's the C-300 to the 300 L and M, interesting videos of Tim Flock and other 300 racing notables including Karl K. and pictures/videos of his cars on the track.

I also had recorded another segment of Muscle Cars and in this one they gave an 800 number and a price of 19.95 to order a video of this program and the ad said that this would include 2 different programs of 1/2 hour each, so I assume that a video of the 300 segment could be ordered.

This was made in 2001 so this info may have been previously posted, however anyone interested in the number send message to listservice.
