Re: [Chrysler300] 58 300D stuff and F.I.,too!

In response to #3:
I just received in the mail a few days ago a catalog called " the
Chrysler Gallery, No. 1". There are a lot of really nice things that
you can purchase from this catalog. Two of the items are a 1942
Chrysler Town & Country and a 1957 300 C 1:24 scale die-cast cars.
These are both Danbury Mint cars.
There are many nice black and white pictures of Chrysler Corp.
cars, including a 1941 Newport, 1941 Thunderbolt interior and some
people working in the Chrysler Design Studio in 1940. I did find an
error in the caption of one of the pictures. On page 10 of this catalog
it shows a picture of a 300 F conv. The caption reads: " Only 248
Chrysler 300F convertibles were built in 1961". I always thought the
300 F was built in 1960.
Has anyone else received this catalog and noticed this? I am not
sure if Chrysler is doing this catalog or if this is an outside company
offering these items for sale with the Chrysler logo on them. It would
be nice to see accurate information on Chrysler vehicles, especially the
letter cars.
I think the two die-cast cars mentioned above are still available
from Danbury Mint.

300ly,
Gil Boucher
