Timo Tankanen provided shims for my auto when we did the brakes.  They are 
steel shim stock and would be somewhat a pain in the arse to make(we tried 
as he did not have a supply with him when he was up to my home and we did 
the brakes and bearings).  Perhaps you can get some from him, but in general 
he does not sell his private stock of hard to find items.  He saves for his 
own use on customer's cars.  But you might give him a shot.  Advertises in 
our newsletter.
