I have a method that works really well.  If I see a posting that is of no 
interest to me or was covered before, I merely skip over them.  It is not as 
though our archives are easily searchable to uncover previous threads on a 
topic.  If we wanted something like that we could do as is done in this one 
that I also subscribe too.

  But I think what we have is perfectly adequate and skipping over 
repetitions or those of no interest is not a hardship for me and my hard 
drive is large enough so that space is not at such a premium.  As for me, 
even if a topic is repeated but is of interest to me, I read all the 
postings as often I will still learn something new.  I have never seen such 
a prickly bunch.  This is suppose to be fun.
