Just re-red Johns post. One more thing .Put a ballast rester in that wire from the battery to the coil or you will fry the points,unless you plan to run it for 1/2 hour at 2000 rpm.You should run it for about 2000 rpm when it starts for 3 minutes to get lots of oil to the cam lobes.then its o.k. to run at a fast idle.( the cam lobes get most of there oil from the squirters in the connecting rods) Jim McMullan 300 F calif.
