Hi club, Yes it was me....it has some parts that I need for the G stick Resto and the seller did not want to part it out, but only sell it as a whole. I did want to stay anonymous because I am not proud of tearing one of these apart. The story on the car is the frame is completely rotted through, trees were literally growing through the car's floor boards, the engine is frozen, animals have nested in the car for years...in a nutshell, it is far far worse then the black one (vin 8413146837) that I recently sold to Rob Aubry. It is a bill-of-sale car only. It is not restorable. Russ, by all means, please feel free to take images of it tomorrow. I was going to do the same and send the data plate and vin images to Gil for the club records. Sadly, as I stated above, this one is not save-able. Gil, John H, what is the proper protocol for surrendering the physical data plate and vin plate after a letter car is scrapped? Should they be destroyed as well or is there a member of the club that handles them? Thanks.... Hi all, I don't know the details, but the car is sold. The buyer asked to remain anonymous but Axlerod unwittingly let on to me enough for me to have the opinion it is John Lyons. I was going to try and get some pictures of the car and VIN plate as Lynn is one city away from our place in Saugus, MA, but it will be gone by the time I get back tomorrow. Case closed on this one for now! Russ Vaughan white300c@xxxxxxx wrote: Hi all, The vin on the G is 41313190224 . He has offers of $4000. & one to sell it for $5000. on ebay if he splits the money . I was the 5th caller . It's missing the grill ,side trim , headlight trim & is full of animal D00 D00 . The frame is bad & trunk is rusted shut. The air cleaners are in the back seat & animals have nested in the carbs. The speedo ,seats, engine & trans are still in the car. The bumpers could be plated .Good parts car. 300Ly, Herb [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm --------------------------------- Yahoo!
