Re: [Chrysler300] Carburetion Question!!! - reply

I use an electric fuel pump on my long ram '60 Plymouth. I use it in
conjunction with a Holley fuel pump safety pressure switch:

http://www.holley.com/products.asp?product=12-810
and, http://www.holley.com/data/Products/Technical/199R9680.pdf

This allows the electric fuel pump to operate only if there is oil pressure.
It is bypassed when the ignition switch is in the crank mode. If the car
has been sitting for a long period, I crank it until it builds oil pressure,
then let it set with the ignition switch 'on' while the oil pressure bleeds
off (the electric pump running). A couple of cycles and it fires right up.
