[Chrysler300] 1962 AC Switch

So,

I have a problem.
Here's what was happening:
- Press in the Max Air button and the AC compressor comes on and all 3 fan speeds work.
- Press in the Fresh Air button and the AC compressor comes on and all 3 fan speeds work.
- Press the Defrost button and none of the fan speeds work, though the hot air will flow driving down the road.
- Press the Heat button and none of the fan speeds work, though the hot air will flow driving down the road.

Then the AC compressor stayed on no matter what button was pressed in. So, I then had to unplug the AC compressor under the hood. The next day I plugged the AC compressor back in under the hood and now it will not turn on with the buttons.

Today I picked up a brand new switch at a Dodge dealership, which I will install tomorrow. Once installed should ALL problems be resolved? OR do I need to look further into the push/pull fan switch too?

Thanks!
