Re: [Chrysler300] 300K power window motor bracket

Also on the subject of K power windows, I've got a problem with the
coupling between the window motor and the "Mechanism", or gearbox that drives
the regulator. I've replaced the coupling twice, and don't have any more
left. This also is the driver's window. Does anyone have a source for these
couplings, or even a good motor/coupling/mechanism as a unit?
Please help us K guys out.

Thanks,
George Clineman

       Hello friends,
I replaced a power window switch in the K yesterday. But still no power
drivers side window. I removed the door panel to find the power window motor
resting at the bottom of the door. The bracket that holds it by two screws at the
top of the motor had cracked and broke off just above the mounting screws.

I vaguely recall reading about someone fabricating a stronger replacement
bracket to hold the motor in place. Maybe I'm just dreaming. Does anyone know
about this?
