Hello everyone, I just received my 59 back from the paint and body shop so thought it was time to insure it in case of a tragedy in or around my home. Although it is in pieces I contacted Hagerty about there restoration insurance. After many phone calls, applications, photos they said my 300E has a value of $5,300.. And a finished value of $15,000.. ? I have thousands of dollars in parts, not to mention all the other items labor, paint etc.. They ended up saying I was unreasonable wanting to insure it at a replacement value of $40,000. I am curious and confused if any body else has Hagerty for this insurance, or information on another company they have had better luck with please contact me.. Thanks!
