They ended up saying I was unreasonable wanting to insure it at a replacement value of $40,000. I am curious and confused if any body else has Hagerty for this insurance, or information on another company they have had better luck with please contact me.. I'm not sure about the $40,000 number, but they were pretty receptive with me when I wanted to bump the G up to $45,000.00. Perhaps you should call them back with specifics, like the Old Cars price Guide values and a couple of ads from the Old Car Trader and other publications. As an alternative, have the car appraised by a certified appraiser and they will accept the value. I have found Hagerty to be very cooperative and I am surprised at your experience. Perhaps you wound up with somebody new who didn't understand about these cars. Regards, Pete Fitch ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
