RE: [Chrysler300] C-300 value re colors??

And is it true by 1957, red 300s were hard to sell because they stood out 
more easily for speed cops to notice, and you then got more tickets?!
Certainly white cars (and 300s) do seem to blend in more. And I suppose 
speed cops are sort of human ordinary type people re noticing what others 
notice re color !!!?

Or could the 'not many factory red 300Cs were built/sold' fact be linked to 
the fact (I think) that a fair few were bought new by doctors - your doctor 
may have looked more like a doctor turning up in a non red 300 !??? Or maybe 
just the '57 red was a bit to oddball, non traditional, for car buyers?

Anyone out there throw in their 2 bobs worth re what is fact/fiction, or 
'old wives tales' as some say.
