Hey Ron, I think that he just said that about crushing the Saratoga, and didn't really mean it, given the stress he's under: There's the recent loss of his mother, his father gave him 30 days to get out of the house and to move his three non-op cars, he lost his job because of all the time he took off from work managing his mom's estate, since his dad was disinterested in doing it, etc, etc. He would be heartbroken if it went to the crusher. The guy was initially a little rude to me, both in e-mail and live on the phone, but apologized, explaining the amount of stress he's under. I'm sure he would normally not want to see it parted out to give life to a couple of 300-Fs, but I would guess he'd much prefer that to seeing it crushed. He's as crazy about that Saratoga as we are about our 300s, but it's one of those projects that keeps getting put on his back burner. Plus he probably won't sell it to you even if he needed to if you were parting it out. He doesn't want to see a car he's owned for 20+ years get broken down to parts if he can help it. > > John Spiers > Lake Worth, FL > > Ron Waters <ronbo97@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hey Everyone - > > This was posted to the Forward Look Mailing List.
