The first Chrysler dual quad installation as far as I can document was the "Adam" car which I and Owen Grigg have owned. It is currently in Owen's possession in New Zealand. There have been suggestions that other '53-54 New Yorker Pan Am race cars (Carrera Panamericana - Mexican Road Race) cars were dual-quad-equipped. My understanding is that race rules prohibited that (which is why Adam did not race). No others known to exist. Also suggested is the possibility a handful of '54 Imperials were dual-quad-equipped. None known to exist. Adam was the 5th to last '53 New Yorker for the model year. So Chrysler had dual quads in 1953. Estimated horsepower 315 with solid lifters, roller tappet cam, raised compression.
