RE: [Chrysler300] 57 Brake Fluid Fill

Some of the smaller brake fluid containers that gas stations sell have a narrow somewhat extended neck.

If you remove the metal master cylinder lid, and the bottle neck is narrow enough, with these small containers you can come in with it from the side - - coming in under/between the rubber bellows above - and when the end of neck is far enough in, then tilt/tip the container so fluid runs out into the fairly wide open master cylinder as you watch the level from outside the fender. I have found it better it fluid container not 100% full, but maybe about 75% full, that way fluid does not run out as you manouver it into position, having obviously to tilt it as you get it's end over open master cylinder .

Once you have the correct small little plastic brake fluid container, keep it, as it make topping up real easy fast, and spillfree - I think the one I use is a Mobil brand with a screw plastic top, it a flat sided one I found a few years ago.

Christopher Australia - and for all you US 300 farmer members who like to know - most of top end and northern parts of whole east side of Australia just got real big (summer) rains again, their third in 3 months, one desert outback town getting 9 inches in a day, breaking 100yrs of records, never mind three such big rains in the vast outback summer near unprecedented. In the south however drought is still on - nights got cooler the last week, like maybe an early autumn coming here. Collector Car Show season in full swing now across most of south of nation.

To all.

Is there some secret to adding brake fluid without removing the power brake
booster unit over the top of the master cylinder?

Thanks

Dan
