Joe, I believe the answer to you question is the Cummins Apex Red paint p/n 3163075, available through Cummins parts outlets. I know it is the correct red for the ram manifolds, and I believe also for the wheel covers. That's what I used for both. I am restoring some 61 wheel covers and need to re-spray the red paint on the inner circle of the wheel cover. Any advice on type and color of red paint and/or the best way to go about doing this? I ordered some new insert medallions, polished'em up a bit and figured I would now need to get some stripper to remove the old paint and then simply re-paint them and re-assemble. Just need to know color and paint type and if there is anything else special I need to do to prepare the surface, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
